Yesterday as I was driving the incredibly long 2.5hr drive to my mom's house to drop off the dogs, I passed a hitchhiker. Now, most times, hitchhikers look like scary psychotic serial killers who've missed a few showers. Stereotypes aside I guess, this guy actually looked friendly. I changed lanes to give him some space as I passed, and he waved and smiled. He looked very friendly (and was clean). It made me wonder who he was, where he came from, and why he's hitchhiking. Maybe he's a nice guy, maybe he's the next ted bundy. Who knows? Makes me think of how you really don't know where people come from, regardless of where they are now.
